is a sensorial, sonic, one-to-one durational performance experience that immerses the audience in praise and confers them with a gift. The piece endeavors to welcome the erotic (not relegated only to the sexual) as a source of power, what Audre Lorde notes as ‘the power of our unexpressed and unrecognized feeling’. Taking back, re-attributing, and embodying needed resources from their usual position as vilified, misunderstood, crazed, debased , lesser, is often left to the realms of the private or the expressly therapeutic domain. (How) is performance (and the genre of intimate performance specifically) an alt. space for playing with, listening alongside and offering it up for the benefit of more than one.
Audience participants have the option to book a one to one experience, to attend the ‘finale’ or hopefully both.
