Ting Xie

She is an actress, as well as a performer，theatre director, playwright, and performance coach. She focuses on childhood trauma, anthropology, sexuality, violent revolution, and absurdist aesthetics. Her early theatre work was warmly coloured and in recent years she has begun to experiment with contemporary performance. 

Her works are mostly slow-paced, with an emphasis on spatial relationships and scene-specificity. In flirting with injustice and social absurdity, it is also about self-redemption and self-calmness in the midst of absurdity.

She loves oranges.
